Milk & Honey

61 Poland St, W1F 7NU

Want a bar recommendation housed in a swanky Members Only club which lets mere mortals like us drink at too?

Look no further than Milk and Honey, who pride themselves in ‘bringing unrivalled drinks quality and service to a discerning crowd of grown-ups’

Okay we wouldn’t really describe ourselves as the last bit, but hey we were allowed in anyway…but you’ve got to have a reservation if you aren’t a member.

On a hot summer’s evening this cool and darkened bar was the perfect place for a pre-dinner drink. We were off to Duck and Rice, just around the corner (blog to follow) so it worked out to be the perfect place.

Their cocktails are made using the finest spirits and ingredients, whilst putting all their glassware and mixing glasses in the freezer to keep your drink extra chilled…also all their juices are freshly squeezed that day (hence why you see no cranberry on the menu.

Be warned the bar is quite dark – we definitely didn’t stumble over the same stool on our way in and way out – plus you may feel slightly mole like if you emerge out from the darkness into the sunshine…maybe more late night or wintery bar! But all the same pretty darn good!

The Burp Blog’s Verdict: Four out of Five Forks

Price: £ (approx: £9 per cocktail)

Top Tip: Keep your eyes peeled for stools hidden in the shadows!
